There was no reception and only my name on a board to tell me which apartment I was in. The room had a well stocked kitchen but had no bedding. This should have been made clear at the time of booking. As a result my stay was not particularly comfortable. I was also expected to clean the room before I left. "I'm really glad we stayed here. It's as close to perfect as possible. Situated in a small village (with restaurants, shopping, EV charging, etc. not far away) it's a perfect location to explore the Pyrenees and their attractions. The hosts are welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Everything we needed was provided. Would have no hesitation at all in recommending Le Balcon des Cimes to friends and family. "

"Was surprised how close the hotel from train staion. It was a 2 minute walk across. So convenient for transportation approaching taxi for a ride to the Grotto."

"I believe this is the oldest hotel in Lourdes. The owners have done an incredible job of renovation. The attention to every detail from comfortable beds, beautiful bedding, amenities in the bathroom, a fantasticily gorgeous indoor, swimming, pool, and hot tub outside. The staff is obviously hand-picked for professionalism, extreme kindness cheerfulness. I especially like the evening checks to make sure everything is OK and if more towels or anything is needed in the room. Such a feeling of being cared for welcomed, and a feeling to be at home. An easy location walking to the grotto, as well as to shops and other features in the town of Lourdes, I highly recommend this for a beautiful respite while in Lourdes. Also dining at the restaurant, the food was phenomenal, extreme attention to detail in the preparation, quality and presentation of the meal. A gorgeous breakfast as well."
