"Great area. You can walk almost everywhere downtown. The hotel is quaint. Rooms are a little small. If you book from hotels.com the pictures are not true to what you book. Ex: my room showed a balcony. When we checked in there was no balcony. Using stock photos. Host are very accommodating and friendly. Enjoyed our stay. "

"The rooms were really old and had a run down feeling. The rugs were visibly dirty, the towels were cleaned, but had stains, and there was no clear statement (that I saw) that there is no elevator. The fireplace suites are not worth the extra cost-- the couches are old and discolored, and the fireplace was a stove- no instructions on how to use, etc. I was disappointed."

Great location walkable to downtown, but also lots of shuttles to take you where you want to go (and back and forth to Rubey Park to catch busses to the other mountains). Concierge helped with reservations for large groups on multiple nights and having ski butler on site was great for those who rented.
