"I had not realized how beautifully located The Gresham is to old town Leicester. The Gresham could use some refurbishing (hall carpets as an example) however, the ambiance was perfect for me. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast each day was delicious with reasonable selections. My room was quite cozy and comfortable. I have other trips planned from the US to Leicester and I will always book The Gresham for my stay. Overall, it was perfect for my needs. "

"A beautiful heritage estate of large proportions and character. The history was fascinating. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were superb. A beautiful country setting with beautiful views of the river and farmland. Well equipped rooms, with all appliances you could ever need. Rooms were cosy and warm. We loved using the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Highly recommend and I would love to stay here again, given the opportunity."

Being from rural area it was difficult understanding security but destails were very good, just our lack of ability. I did get locked in bathroom at 3 a.m. as when I tried to get out as the lock fell out of the door handle. "I rarely take the opportunity to record my stays but this deserves the time. The communication in advance was clear and very helpful. "The apartment was clean and tidy, though was freezing cold as the heating was off..the electric heaters did turn on quickly but was virtually all or nothing. The ensuite show lurched from boiling to ice cold without moving the controls...weirdly no hand towels or a tea towel in the kitchen and only a couple items of cutlery. However the bed was comfy"

"Attended a business dinner then stayed overnight. The food was lovely including the breakfast. Rooms were good (great shower pressure!). The only slight negative was that the earliest breakfast (Saturday) was 8am. My colleague had to leave at 7:15 so he left without food. "

"The place was gorgeous! The staff were helpful. We only stayed for 1 night but was a special night celebrating partners birthday, they put a balloon in the room for us and also gave a happy birthday dessert to my missus! Made it just that little more special. The beds were comfy with good choice of pillows! View was nice also from room. Pool facilities were nice! Only downside was if wanted to sit on a bed you couldnt as people at towels on them to 'use' them even though everyone was in the pool or away. Would stay here again! Lovely place! Thank you "

"Drayton Manor Hotel was superb. We had a room with 2 double beds. It was spotless, comfortable and spacious. Towels were exceptional. They really went the extra mile. Very child centred with a children's entertainer who was brilliant on Friday evening and a visit from the Fat Controller at dusty at breakfast So much fun. Being able to park in the hotel car park meant only a short walk to the park. Our visit exceeded our expectations "

Location, location, location

"It's location right outside the airport makes it the ideal choice when departing early or arriving late. The online check-in meant that I literally just picked up my key at reception and was in my room within 5mins of leaving the airport building. Very clean and comfortable and will definitely use again."
