"I grew up in Salem and there’s not much of an option available. Came into town for a funeral. The Cottonwood has a history of not being the best. But I was pleasantly surprised! For the rate you are paying it was actually pretty great! Room was clean and ready at arrival. Linens were nice, bed was comfy. I chose the room with a kitchenette and it suited my needs. Breakfast provided, small but adequate. I would gladly stay here again. "

"Everything about this place is awesome. It's so quiet and clean. I needed time away from the city and this place is definitely far from the city life. They offer wifi and you WILL need it. There is almost zero reception in the area... but I'm not complaining. The staff was awesome and very accommodating. Will be back for sure. "
