"The property is nice. The resort needs to provide ear plugs for their clients due to the noise of the tree frogs. Because of the way the building was designed, the tree frogs made an echo sound from sun set to sun rise. Other than that the resort has everything, restaurants, pools, bid and small and beach right on the premises."

"The host waited up for us as our flight got in really late, however i kept him informed. On entry to the apartment the first impression although sparsely furnished, the place was very clean with fresh bedding and towels. It would have been really lovely if the host had provided limited beverages, so we could make a hot drink on arrival and first thing in the morning. "Property was adequate for my overnight transit. 3mins or so drive from the airport. Wifi connection was good, A/C in the room, I felt safe and I had a quite pleasant restful night sleep. Owner was there to check me in and kindly arranged my airport taxi for me the following morning. I would stay there again for transit stay."

"Hidden Gem is a perfect place to relax and just hang by the pool, or recline on the deck facing the ocean. It is not a place where you can step out the door and be on the beach or at a restaurant. "Friendly hotel that was clean and well staffed. It was great for a 3 star and is reasonably priced for families and couples to be able to come and enjoy Barbados. The rooms are lovely and spacious and clean towels are plentiful. The staff are friendly and courteous.I feel there should be an extra cover provided for the bed as one sheet is not enough. That is the only thing though as we had a great stay on this lovely island!"

"Let me start by saying the hotel was clean, spacious, and best of all the location is perfect close to all the fun in St Lawrence Gap. The receptionist Tia was very welcoming upon arrival and made us feel at home. Check In was smooth and we were in our room in no time. Best Hotel for a nice view of the ocean and close to the noghtlife. I wouldnt stay amywhere else."

"This resort was perfect for us. To start, transportation from the airport to the resort was extremely easy to book, efficient and not a far drive from the airport. Check in was seamless. Our room wasn’t ready until 4. They do have a room with a changing room, shower, bathroom so you can change and enjoy the day depending when you arrive. All food here is good, which you don’t come by often at all inclusive resorts. The buffet menu changed daily for dinner and lunch. They have two restaurants on the property which were both good. Umi was our favorite - the sushi was 10/10. Children are allowed at this resort and mostly stay at the pool. There is only one main pool and one small pool (which nobody went in). The beach was great, they come and put up an umbrella for you so you don’t have to worry about getting shade. The staff is very nice. All around I would come back. This is the perfect place to relax & a no frills resort."

"The room we had was lovely the view to see the beach was brilliant and stunning the restaurant was excellent and the staff were very polite and friendly, and the master chef was very nice and the food he cooked was lovely the only bad thing is that we had too leave. We are planning to come back next year 😊 "

"I came to the Golden sands for my husbands birthday weekend and our stay there was superb from start to finish. The staff were very accommodating esp Mechelle who helped me coordinate with decorators to set up the room for my husbands birthday surprise as well as throwing in a complimentary birthday breakfast and bottle of wine in there. The food at the restaurant attached to the hotel was also spectacular. We very much enjoyed the breadfruit coocoo with king fish as well as pudding and souse. The rooms were clean and equipt with all we needed and the location was awesome situated right across from beach and a short walk to the oistins fish fry. I highly recommend the Golden Sands hotel"
