"Hotel is a bit dated but in a great location. You can't be any closer to the night market and there are lots of great food options. We stayed several nights with Chiayi as a base. It was very quiet until someone checked into the room above us. On that night, it was clear that the soundproofing is non-existent. A bit tricky for light sleepers."

"Comfortable, clean and spacious room. Staff were courteous and respectful. Breakfast had a lot of varieties and quite tasty, We had to leave early for the bus to Alishan so the hotel prepared a whole set of disposable containers and cutlery for us to pack the food to-go. "Room is very inconvenient, the only furniture is the bunk bed and locker. There’s no elevated surface to put items on. There is only luggage elevator which you’d still need to lift your baggages to put them in. Staff were great, they recommended us a lot of places to visit. The shared kitchen and hang out spaces are nice too. I’d only recommend this for solo travelers."
