"The price for the apartment is reasonable. The apartment is small, and does not supply enough towels. We did not receive any instructions for picking up the keys and arranging for our arrival. The manager did not reply to our email inquiries. There were ants in the room. The air conditioning unit does not have any labels, and the place was very hot. We did not enjoy our stay in this property."

"This is a beautiful property that looks every bit as good in real life as it does in the pictures. These apartments are fully renovated spaces converted from historic buildings, which gives them incredible character and charm. "We stayed one night with our 3 kids. the room was renovated and nice, could use a rug, since the floor was cold. There were beds for 5 and a sofa that opens for one more if needed. Plenty of bed linens as well. Cons- no dishes in the kitchenette, and the microwave had nowhere to plug it it. we had to move it and it was heavy. Great area with lots to do. nice country club style indoor pool ( Beit Eyal) with an extra nominal fee ( 30 Shekels per person)"

"The place looks amazing and designed in the spirit of old Safed. I really enjoyed getting to know the owners of the place, they were super kind and lovely! They have thought of anything you'll need during your vacation. The apartment is close to all the interesting places in Safed. I am so happy that I chose this apartment. I had a spectacular and magical experience, HIGHLY recommended! A truly 10/10 experience!"

"The only positive about this place is the location, walking distance from the center of town and art/synagogue district. The negative: Can't access with car, the road is so tight and there is always car parked blocking access resulting in at least 2 block or more walk both uphill and downhill with heavy bags from our trip. "We highly recommend a stay at the Scots Hotel for adults who appreciate beautiful antique-style historic buildings with beautifully maintained gardens and a quiet and prestigious atmosphere. The hotel is very well-maintained and immaculate. The staff was helpful and friendly. This hotel is not suited for kids and is designed for guests over 16 years old. We will be glad to stay at this hotel again."
