"Loved this place but wish I had known it was 97 steps up a narrow staircase with no lift. Being on my own trying to get my suitcase up was a nightmare on an extremely hot day. "Very large apartment, clean in a great location. Minimal equipped kitchen could have use a few more cooking pots and pans. Location faces onto the very busy piazza. With no AC and the windows open it was quite noisy late into the night and very early in the morning. Check-in instructions need improvement. Lock box was impossible to find. Found after asking several locals. The unit was only indicated as 4th floor, no unit number. Only found it after trying the key in every lock until one...

"Parking was tough but property is not far up a side street connected to the port main road, so we could park at the aquarium public parking and it was very short walk. Very glad we stayed at this hotel vs others in Genoa downtown once we had walked the city some. This property is in one of the better / cleaner / safer feeling zones. The police station is literally next door so you get to see them pass by on patrol regularly. The pizza place directly across the street had excellent pizza as well."

"The rooms were wonderful. The staff was quite nice and made us feel welcome. The hotel itself felt safe. It was a bit tricky to drive to get in, as we passed it and that leads into the airport. A nice man helped us back up the one way to be in front of the hotel. There is a gate you need to take a ticket from to park in front of the lobby to do your check in, which was rather odd to us. It has nice underground parking. After that, all went well. "
