"Athena Palace is a small aparthotel, with 14 apartments on two levels, right in front of the fantastic Aegean sea, west side of Karpathos island. It is not on the main road, so you do not hear noises or traffic , only the constant sound of the waves and wind.
Wifi is not very steady, but you do not really need it or care for this, in my opinion... Also, the kitchen equipment is a bit basic, but again you have plenty of tavernas to choose from anywhere on the island and there is no sense in...
"Tolle Aussicht, sehr moderne Einrichtung, sehr freundliches Personal.
Das spärliche Frühstück fällt dagegen etwas ab.
Der Jacuzzi ist leider nicht beheizt und daher für längere Aufenthalte zu kalt."
"Struttura nuova e accogliente, tutti i servizi ottimi, gestita bene, personale disponibile. Si trova in posizione strategica per girare la magnifica isola.di Karpathos."
"An amazing property! The villa is luxurious. Stay here, visit some of the local beaches and towns nearby and enjoy an authentic Greek island experience. Bless the Arpathea Villas! Bless Karpathos! Opa!"
"Grande chambre au calme, litetie confortable, cuisinette pratique, belle vue sur la belle petite plage de sable de Finiki, propritaires tres sympathiques et donnant de bonnes informations sur la region. "

"Great location on the beach, 20 min from the airport and 5 min drive from the town. Great housekeeping , very clean , great team and management and such kind and considerate staff and team members. Our stay was perfect, room and service impeccable. My daughter had a small emergency and Budi from the bar was so kind and helpful. I am writing this review from Rhodes and frankly wish we could have stayed much longer in Karpathos. Great island, beautiful beaches but people of Karpathos including employees from Bali treated us so kindly as if we were their family. Food was good mostly international but we wish there was more seafood. Thank you all and I hope that owner/s recognize their incredible dream team."
"the hotel is wonderful. because of its elevation the views of both bays are stunning. the breakfast was plentiful, varied and good quality ingredients. the staff spoke good English and were extremely helpful, especially the lady who recommended Captain James restaurant in Baltimore USA! - hotel, restaurants, shopping, cleanliness of Karpathos was very good but beware the cost of taxis. I was ripped off by being charged Euro 70 to travel to & from the airport to the main port! so I won’t be coming back!"
"This hotel is magical! Beautiful decor and excellent layout. It was very well laid out with comfortable furniture and bedding. It's an easy walk down the hill to the beach, but it can be a bit steep in places so be mindful if you have any mobility needs.
The Amoopi beach has chairs/umbrellas available for a fee (I believe $30 euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella), and there was a beachfront restaurant where we grabbed a late lunch.
It's a short distance to Karpathos town (Pigadia) where you'll have access to groceries, restaurants, bars, etc. on the beautiful harbor.
The staff was exceptional. We enjoyed the onsite breakfast overlooking the sea. The food was freshly prepared, beautifully presented and delicious.
They offered us a late checkout since our flight wasn't until the evening. We rested by the pool and the bartender woke us up when it was time to depart for our flight since our phones were charging in the room.
The only issue we had was sleeping with the windows open not realizing the mosquitos would come in. The next day, we noticed the hotel even provides a mosquito repellant plug-in in one of the drawers which was so thoughtful! Just be mindful of the mosquitos, and you'll have a wonderful stay. "
"Very kind elderly couple. They greeted me in English when I arrived, showed me to my room and gave me a tour of it. This place makes you feel like a local."
