"The Villa di Piazzano is stunning down to the smallest detail. The staff is attentive, pleasant and helpful. The food and wine at the onsite restaurant was some of the best we had on our 23-day trip across Italy. One of our favorite stays for sure!"

"First off, Cortona is BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING! Such an amazing old walled city to walk, photograph and enjoy! Second, this property is one of the most beautiful and ancient places I’ve ever stayed! The halls and rooms were stunning. Old stone and iron everywhere. We stayed in the top room with the terrace. Oh man, I just can’t tell you how beautiful and fun this stay was. We sat on the terrace and watched the meteor shower while I did night photography! This property is stunning. The parking down...

"Wanted a coffee in the morning and the staff were very accommodating. I’m only disappointment was the air-conditioner wasn’t working in my daughter had to get a fan from the front desk because it was quite hot in our room. "

"This property was so perfect for our Tuscany stay! The rooms are decorated beautifully, the grounds are gorgeous and it was just. Few minutes from Montepulciano, perfect for day trips. Matteo was kind and extremely helpful in all aspects, the communication was excellent. You can tell the family takes a lot of pride in this property and cares about their guests. We highly recommend!"

"We were initially uncertain about booking here due to some negative online comments; however, very happy we did! it would be difficult to pristinely maintain the property as it is historic and quite large, so if you’re looking for something with every modern amenity, this is not the stay for you. However, the property is a gorgeous setting and the buildings are quaint and charming. Our room was very spacious - a bit of noise transfer through the bathroom. Pool area is beautiful! Great breakfast...

"I had a wonderful time at the hotel. I arrived early and just expected to drop my bags, but they checked me in early and got me to the room. It was spacious, very much in style of the historic area, yet had lots of outlets for easy computer use and phone charging. It was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect--easy to get to from the train station and then to explore Arezzo and their wonderful museums and churches. A lovely time, and I will definitely stay here again when staying in Arezzo. Only negative--I couldn't figure out the rather complex shower! But it looks like it would be a great one."
