"Communication with owner excellent. Was able to drop bags at unit and then park car in space provided by hotel about a 10 minute walk down or up depending on direction. Apartment large and comfortable. Breakfast nice continental assortment. Owner helped with bags up 2 flights of stairs checking in. Excellent location. Every thing nearby. We would book again"

"This is a very large apartment in a 500 year old well maintained building. It is in the beautiful historic area. Do be aware that this is a VERY hilly area and you will have to walk up and down steep streets everywhere you go. That includes from the parking area. Cars are restricted from the area around the apartment without a permit. "

"I made a reservation with the information that it was 14km away from Saturnia at the time of booking, and the Resort and Saturni were 35km. Also, the mattress of the bed felt a spring in my body and could not sleep easily. When I got out, I could not clean my room."

"Very beautiful quiet village. Wouldn’t recommend going without having some form of transportation. Pretty secluded area but thats why we chose it."

"Amazing place, will come back. Everything you would want from a visit to Tuscany. Warm people, delicious food and amazing ambiance. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and had excellent hot water. Rooms opened up to private courtyard. Restaurant meals were delicious, service was impressive and food portions were great. Thank you for taking good care of our family of 5."

"Rosewood Castiglion Del Bosco is an exceptional hotel offering a stunning view of Val d'Orcia, a beautiful valley in Tuscany. One minor drawback that I encountered during my visit in the winter was that the temperature of the indoor pool was not as warm as I would have preferred. While the pool area is undoubtedly lovely, it would have been more enjoyable with a higher water temperature, especially during the colder months. Overall, Rosewood Castiglion Del Bosco is a fantastic choice for those looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of Tuscany and indulge in a luxurious hotel experience. "The staff were kind, positive, pleasant and will to help. A person in my travel party arrived in the breakfast hall only a few minutes before closing time. Rather than just start closing up a staff member was kind enough to ask us if we needed more time. Consequently, the breakfast was presented well and was very well rounded with a great assortment of hot and cold options. They have large elevators, underground parking, and many other amenities that a modern hotel should have. Finally, I noticed that a number of the teams that often place in the middle/lower tier teams of the Italy professional league have chosen/choose to stay in this hotel, so I’m certain it’s been vetted extensively. I know where I will go next time I’m in Grosetto."
