"Excellent, good breakfast and the food menu was varied at a reasonable price. Hotel was convenient for Eden Gardens cricket ground a good 20 min walk away but flat, despite England getting spanked there by 7 wickets it was great experience all the same 😉 The hotel has great history with lots of pictorial items on display, the guests list who have resided there is very interesting. "We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. This was one of the best stay we had. The hall mark of this stay was their food . I have no words to describe how tasty their food was. OMG they had so many items in breakfast that you name it and they had it. They must have an excellent cook who made every dishes so palatable and tasty. At least for the food they deserve 10 stars. If for no other reasons one must stay here for their food. You cannot go wrong for staying here. We are looking forward to...

"Friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast buffet, nice smelling toiletries, and pretty interior architecture. I didn’t have time to explore the area as I was just staying the night between my flight into Kolkata and a drive to Durgapur, but it seemed like there were interesting places nearby."

"Very dirty bathrooms and room. Towel are all worn down. Vanity in the bathrooms have stain same with toilet seats. Service quality is also not appreciable, ordered a glass, it took them multiple reminders and over 45 mins to get. Ice bucket did not have any tong so had to use hands to take out ice cubes. "

"Everything was fine. Staff was friendly. Till on the last day. I showed them on the 2 rooms I booked including a total of 4 breakfast. Ut they insisted I did not. I booked one more room for a additional day. And it also showed breakfast included. I did not get the breakfast I paid for. And they were no longer friendly. They told me I need to get 3 taxi for the 5 people with luggages. And after we waited for them to get taxi (we cancelled our Uber) and then they said they can't get any taxi. So we went to the street and got all in with2 taxi. I don't understand why asking for what we paid for is not right. It is a problem they have with their Expedia listing. But it is not a good experience on the last day. "
