"Balikpapan is a huge city and the staff at the hotel were so helpful in helping me organise my way to seeing things. They really do go out of their way! The hotel is on a busy street with places to eat but it also serves lovely food in the restaurant. "The staff are friendly and helpful. Being next to a shopping mall and bar/restaurant the location is very good. However, when I walked in it smelt damp, looked damp and felt damp. Damp patches are evident on the walls where the wallpaper is discoloured/peeling and the paintwork is bubbling. This I’m sure has a lot to do with low occupancy levels during the recent pandemic. " Our stay was for 4 nights & overall our stay was good. Night 1 & 2 the centrally controlled balcony light was turned off by 10pm. Night 3 it wasn’t turned off until 3am. Night 4, I called reception at midnight & asked for the light to be turned off. Was told ‘Yes’. Never happened, it went off at 3am. "Very accommodating and friendly staff. Nice facilities with an infinity pool overlooking the water. Tasty food in the breakfast buffet. The room is spacious and very comfortable. I would recommend the hotel to anyone traveling in the area."

"it was only a smoking room available with a queenbed and it smelled sooo ugly that we needed to change to a smaller room with two single bed. the breakfast was almost empty, they didn’t refill and some guest didn’t got any food. (still 1 hour before finish) it’s a disappointing experience but the hotel itself could be not bad if they treat everything a bit better and with more heart."

Reputable hotel standard

"Hotel condition is great and service top notch. Love the bed and pillow as very plushy. Bath area is a standing rain shower and spacious. Internet is great. Breakfast is so so not to my liking. Location is near airport probably 5mins drive, 10mins walk. Area surrounding hotel is bad as nothing and look like a slump area and can only travel via grab. Complimentary airport transfer via hotel. Internet is great too"
