We booked a poolside room and planned to relax poolside. When we checked in we were informed that since it was NYE, the pool would be open until 2:00am. Not a big deal until we headed to our room, we saw the entire pool area was full of table's and individual groups all set up with food and ready to party. It was loud until 2:00am when the pool area was finally closed down. When there is going to be an event that will disturb the entire hotel, we should've been notified prior to us checking in so we could've changed our hotel. We have stayed there before and really enjoyed the breakfast voucher. This morning we were not given any choices and was directed to eat from a buffet. I couldn't eat anything from it. This is not what we expected our stay would be like. Expedia needed to inform us of these huge changes.

The breakfast provided by mad apple was a simple buffet of sausage, eggs, potatoes and pancakes. All of the items were cold...like not even a little bit warm. I saw a powerstrip with cords plugged in, but it wasnt plugged into anything. No heat in the nescos, they didnt steam when opened, so obviously cold for awhile.

I understand that everything can't be in a description. However, not having an elevator is a major omission in today's world. Fortunately, my wife was able to get up the stairs. But, the stairs kept us from going as often as we might have in other hotels.

I liked that the restaurant was attached , there was a game room near pool & hot tub and as bonus in pool area was a pool table also foozeball table , . As was giving free breakfast from hotel to eat at the restaurant .so didn't have to drive anywhere.

Staff was helpful & friendly. Pool & hot tub were clean & well kept. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Hotel was very noisy. We could hear conversations happening outside our windows even with them closed, also a lot of noise from the hallway & upstairs. A very nice hotel, just wish it was better insulated for sound
