"The Leonardo Plaza hotel is the only hotel for me when I visit Netanya. The property itself as well as its superb location by Independence Square and the beach is reason enough, but more importantly: the amazing staff. "Definitely a good place: comfortable room, very helpful service, well-maintained. Only knock was the bathroom (small shower, shower head had weak pressure, and the water temperature was inconsistent-sometimes perfect, sometimes cold, and sometimes both scalding and freezing in the span of a minute). Also worth noting that there is no pool or gym available whatsoever (despite the hotel's claim on their website that they have an arrangement with the nearby gym "Holmes Place" to allow hotel guests...

"This was the most unusual stay ever, the hotel and staff were absolutely amazing in every respect and deserve huge credit all round. The hotel is currently hosting around 1,000 displaced survivors of the 7/10 Hamas attack on Israel and we were the only tourists staying at the hotel. It was a visit I will never forget."

You have to ask for coffee for example, which can take 20 minutes or three minutes. Our room was never cleaned consistently in the same way. "In my initial room multiple things didnt work. staff were responsive but it was taking awhile to get it fixed with doubts about whether everything could be repaired. My only criticism is that when I asked if I should just take a different room it took awhile (but prob'ly shorter) to say yes. Other than that the place was great!"
