beautifully located next to the lake but away from the downtown crowd yet walkable to downtown. Very nice pool n sauna n gym. Very very nice room...clean and spacious and comfortable. Will definitely be back

I have stayed at The Rivage now on 3 occasions. The staff are always very nice and the rooms we had were very clean and well serviced. The facilities, which include a gym and pool centre, are of a good standard. I feel the restaurant menu is a little limited for a hotel of this size and quality and would encourage a wider selection. Overall, we had a great stay and I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Lovely hotel situated by the lake and within easy walking disco old town. Buses into the town were close by and quite frequent for when you don’t feel like walking. Fabulous swimming pool and spa area

Wonderful stay!
We stayed at the Rivage for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! We stayed in a Deluxe Room with a Balcony facing towards the lake on the 2nd floor, however due to the trees surrounding the lake we couldn't actually see the lake which was a bit of a shame. The room itself was very big and modern with everything you could want, 2 bathrooms with both a bath tub and shower wet room and two double beds including the optional sofa bed. We requested room cleaning each day by hanging the sign on the door as we left in the morning and always returned to a wonderfully clean room. We also ordered breakfast room service for one of the mornings and were pleasantly surprised with the amount and quality of the food offered. We also used the Spa once during our stay and had a nice time in the pool and large jacuzzi. On our final night (Friday) they had a live band setup outside the main entrance that can be viewed from the room balconies and the ground floor bar, this was a really nice touch and they were great musicians! The only negative we experienced was on check-out, we noticed we were incorrectly charged for another rooms bar service. Also there was some confusion over returning deposit that was charged to our card when checking in and setting the final balance on check-out and we mistakenly paid for our rooms per night again, even though we pre-paid through Hotels.com when initially booking. This was resolved by emailing the reception within a few days.

Beautiful lakeside hotel
Perfectly located lakeside hotel. We had a fabulous room and the staff were amazing. Amazing gym and pool. Our room was beautifully clean and we were upgraded to a lake view room with a balcony as it was my husband’s 60th. The hotel was about a 40 minute walk to the old town, but this was ok as we enjoy a walk. Uber is available as well. The reception staff were very helpful and there is an activities desk where you can organise activities to do during your stay. We hired bikes at a very reasonable price and cycled around the lake. This was our favourite part of our stay! Overall an excellent hotel to spend part of our holiday at.
