"the houses were looking lovely on the internet and the house itself was clean and well maintained but it is more a hotel of value of 200 /300 reales per night. no more. the bed was cheap and terrible. the sheets were as thin as they could possible be and we didn't feel comfortable when we entered the room and found blood spatters on the wall and curtains. this doesn't fill one with confidence "

I didn’t like the small unlit sign at the road, the dirty driveway is in poor conditions, no visibility on top of the hill plus big potholes, the property sits at a steep angle to the ocean requiring big steps stairs to access the room or the pool. "The room smelled really bad, like old and rancid. The bed sheets had a strong foul mothy smell like they haven’t been washed in months. The bathroom walls were dirty and stained. The balcony had no table or chairs. The tv is very small, very bad quality picture and no Netflix or cable. "

"Hendjel and the team were fantastic at this beautiful location and they are here to help with anything you need. This place feels like a secret paradise on a desert island. The food was mind blowing with great chefs for breakfast and dinner. we saw a turtle swimming by one morning while having breakfast ! The beach located close to the resort is wonderful and there are some great hikes to the main town and waterfalls. Amazing ! "

"This is a good place to live in Angra De Dois. Staff are very friendly and breakfast have lots of different options and fruits. The room is clean as well. The downside is the location— it is not that convenient. There is a safety gate to stop every single car entering the neighborhood, which takes us a long time to wait. Walking is not a great option either as there is no restaurant or convenience store nearby. Also the tap water is yellow colored, but it happens to all the rooms in this house, not just ours. Be prepared to get some fresh and clean water if you are sensitive. Overall it is a good place to live with"

"Everything was perfect! Lis and everyone was very friendly and helpful. They treated me like family ❤️ The breakfast was amazing! The views from the rooms and the balconies were amazing even during the rain. The rooms were very clean and tidy. I highly recommend staying there! I will be back many times!! ❤️"
