Disliked: Room comfort
The No Blanket Noisy Hotel
Very old and outdated ground floor level hotel. Yes you only get a sheet no blanket. I asked for a blanket but was told to go buy one.
Rooms noisy with early morning vehicle traffic, morning construction site and late night music. Mornings sounded like a jeepney was about to drive through my room. If you are a light sleeper then good luck.
No black out curtains so lighting comes straight into the room.
Staff
Security and reception 24 hours and staff are friendly. Daily house keeping but my first day they did not clean my room.
The air conditioner is very old and noisy but worked okay.
The mini fridge and tv are okay. At times the tv would freeze and the signal not so good.
Shower toilet is okay with hot water. The safe did not work and it needed batteries.
Bed
Double bed okay. Plastic hospital type mattress so it is not good to sleep on if you have back problems.
Wifi okay but at times very slow
Location: okay
About a 700 metre walk to SM Mall and Walking Street along limited uneven walkway sharing with trikes and pedestrian traffic. A bit challenging at times walking along the Main Street. 700 metres is not far but when it is challenging like this it feels like 7 kilometres.

I purchased 2 bottles of water at the hotel costing 70 pesos. I gave the lady 100 pesos and she had no change to give me. I asked for the money and she said she will give it to me later. Never received my money
