The staff were great and the rooms cleaned well each day. The building though is a little dated and could do with remodeling. Outside was dirty and chaotic like most of Jakarta but this is not the fault of the hotel. Probably wont visit Jakarta again but if I did I would stay and the Menara Peninsular again.

"Staff were very friendly, spoke English, and organised a taxi. Very near Gambi train station. Comfy bed, shower had hot water. Drinking water available. Air con noisy, but acceptable, kept the room cool. Food, shop and bar nearby."
