"We chose this River Palace due to their proximity to Piazza del Popolo a short walk to/from where our tour meeting location which worked out great. The professional team at River Palace were 1st class starting prior to arrival arranging private airport transfer with Marco, the room which was perfect as it had a cozy TV room adjoining bedroom. "Grand style of hotel from a hundred or a hundred and fifty years ago. Had two rooms, one on the 1st floor (2nd floor in the U.S) facing the street - lots of streets noise most of the time. 2nd room was a higher interior room and it had had some hallway noises and noise from other nearby rooms. Once again it's a hotel that's been around for some years. Overall a good experience."

"By the name of this hotel I should’ve known it was going to be a hotel with no lobby. You check in and out outdoors. The walk to our trailer was very long. If I had the chance to do this stay over again, I wouldn’t stay here."

"Location is amazing, close to public transportation both within the city and to/from the airport. It's a shopping strip and very decent prices. One drawback was that the property is old and we were smelling smell of cigarettes smoke in our room, I think due to the ventilation system. We told one of the housekeeping staff and she helped with spraying the room with air freshener. The staff were super nice and friendly both at the reception and housekeeping. Very very clean. Another thing was that some nights there was a loud noise coming from somewhere around the hotel like a club or a DJ until 12am if you are interested to turn in early you might need earplugs. Breakfast buffet was great too. Had multiple cheese options, fruits, eggs, bacon, sussage, premade omelette, juices, breads, etc. The coffee machine was amazing, great coffee. The patio for dining was really nice. All and all an excellent place to stay, 15-20 min walk to almost all of the attractions. A couple of grocery stores were close by and a McDonald's across from the hotel. Very safe neighbourhood. "

"Spacious room for family of 4. Convenient location with lots of eateries and some shopping close by. Happy stay with daily housekeeping and supplies, Lots of water, juice, drinks, snacks at no extra charge. Shared ice machine available. Gym and laundry, usb charging ports handy. Friendly helpful staff. Only downsides: smelly fridge in our room probably not cold enough, leaky shower due to 100% not watertight door seal, high tub to shower in (no issue for able ones like us), no non slip in tub. Thoroughly recommend this hotel. Would stay again"

"We loved that we have close access to the termini which allowed us to use this if we needed, but we did find that we could walk easily around from here - it was enjoyable walk into the city center. Slight hills to navigate but worth it. You stumble across so much of Rome by walking its streets. This hotel is modern and has everything you need."
