"I stayed in Anchorage as my launch point to Denali and Seward/Kenai Fjords. It was good to be able to extend my stay and book the female dorm last minute in the days in between my trips. The manager, John, splits his time between the midtown location and downtown, and I found he was the most helpful in booking my transportation and the Kenai Fjords cruise. Overall staff were friendly and keep the place tidy despite how many ppl were staying there. It is a budget hostel and nothing fancy here....

"I stayed in an apartment in the upper level of this complex in October. The apartment interior is lovely, clean, and spacious. It was easy to access, and I received excellent instructions for gaining entry and for checking out. It is not, however, especially well-insulated for sound (lots of noise from neighboring apartment with baby crying and high-pitched metallic squeal coming from neighboring residence on windier days, someone running a power drill at 11:30 pm).
