I believe I was upgraded to a better room for free and if you are someone who likes to avoid face to face interactions this would be a great option as we only communicated via text or email and I had no problems getting into my room by myself. "Beautiful, modern, elegantly appointed property in a residential area. There is one resort close by on the beach, the Grand Lagonisi, where you can take advantage of their facilities and restaurants. The Aval Riviera boasts a lovely pool area, very nice and helpful host, professionally run. Only problem for me was the poorly-paved steep road to beach. A car is required to enjoy the area fully, to bring in food, as there are no stores or dining within easy walking distance. "
