My first reaction was small property but everything is the same around, and to be honest the room was spacious, bigger than expected. Even though I didnt find the heater, it was warm. The only problem I got was the mold on the shower door. It gave me an allergy reaction and fever. That door must be taken away.

Wonderful staff and perfect location, just such a shame about how dated and run down the rooms are. It was livable, but not particularly nice to be in. The shower room is tiny and water pools inside, and our toilet had a cable tie for a flush, which staff were very apologetic for. Very odd room filled with lots of mirrors… That said, bedding was clean, and the bed was comfy. The location couldn’t have been more perfect for where we needed to be, and at the price we paid, you don’t exactly expect luxury! 3 stars overall

You pretty much get a bed and bathroom, nothing more. No body wash or shampoo provided at the hotel. You can’t adjust the temperature in the room. It was cold during my stay, I just layered up when I sleep. Overall it’s a fair hotel.

The outside of the property is beautiful and really well located. The staff are friendly and the hotel is secure. Our room was a basic double, in the UK we expect a standard that this was below unfortunately, although the price was good, i'd rather have paid a bit more for a better standard of room. The ceiling had cracks, the bathroom looked dirty, although it wasn't, the marble tiles have gone yellow and the unit front was wearing aware. Due to this my husband refused to use the bathroom. some things to be aware of, the towels supplied were 2 small towels each, there is nowhere to put anything in the bathroom - toothbrush etc, there are no tea making facilities and no food allowed in the room, no hairdryer or iron either. I'm giving this honest feedback because i feel if the rooms were maintained and some customer consideration was taken this hotel could be amazing and would be able to charge alot more for the rooms.

Overall it was an okay experience. We checked late in night and there was no one to check us in as in person. Caring luggage on the narrow stairs was extremely challenging. It was very dark at night. There were no toiletries.

It's a very very basic hotel so don't expect anything you would normally get even with another budget hotel! Great location for city exploring. and frieldy staff, but that's it. Room was poor, bed poor, facilities broken and not working . Clean linen for bed but very run down room.

There just weren’t a lot of everyday hotel items included, namely soap and an iron. I was there for ADE, which goes until dawn, and there was a bell down the street that rang every 30 minutes during the day. Therefore, sleep was nonexistent. I never really saw anyone else in the entire building.

My first time visiting Amsterdam. This is a small hotel in a cozy location on the canals. Small room, small bar on ground level, small front desk. Long twin bed. A nice and cozy, classy place. Friendly staff. Would recommend. The stairs up & down are steep and narrow, and no elevator. Plenty of places close-by to explore on holiday. The nearest subway station is called Rokin and very easily accessible. Amsterdam has the best public transportation in all the world. I was out of bed and at the airport gate area ready to board my plane home within 1-hour. Amazing city. A must see. World’s Best.
