The rproerty is perfectly located close to transport, parks, zoo and museums. The staff are friendly. Easy check in and out. I will recommend this hotel because of location, comfort and peacefulness, but not if you need elevator because the stairs are steep.

Enjoyed our stay. Quiet hotel - our room overlooked the courtyard - nice large windows. Great location. Comfy bed. Friendly staff. Didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on that. Tram stop just around the corner which was handy.

Great place to stay in Amsterdam. 20 min walk from Central Train station. Located in relatively quiet area across from a park. Stairs to get to rooms are fairly steep and small, that’s something to be mindful of. Hotel staff & hotel condition were great.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The room was clean. I have to agree with other reviews I read before, that there is not air-conditioning, which was a little hard when it was really hot, and also those stairs to the upper floors are seriously steep, so if you have trouble with stairs with big suitcases, be aware.

Good location. Hotel has no air conditioning or elevator. Spiral staircase between each of the three floors is very narrow and approximately 18-20 steps. Nice selection of items at continental breakfast.

Amazing location in a beautiful neighborhood that is a convenient walk to the center of the city. Very helpful staff. Room was comfortable. If you have mobility issues, ask for room 1 on the first floor, which is a double but a third bed can be added. Other rooms are upstairs, which requires being able to climb fairly steep stairs. We will be staying here again!

Very pleasant hotel - we stayed there for 4 nights in November and it was a nice stay. It is walking distance from the centre and room was clean. The only downsides were that there was no lift so if your mobility is poor this is not the hotel for you! Also if you want breakfast it is 13.50 euros per person per day. We didn’t feel that this was worth the money as the breakfast was literally toast, fruit and biscuits. Overall a good stay though!

This property is very old, internet is very bad, mattress is very uncomfortable, steep stairs and overall not worth paying or staying. Location is ok and edge of center but look for other choices first

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is in a quiet part of town, yet there is plenty to see and do in the area . It is within walking distance of many attractions and of course there are no hills! The hotel itself is traditional and overlooks a park with the zoo about 5 minutes walk away. However there is not a lift or double glazing. This means outside noise from the park can be a problem at night. There is a welcoming restaurant on the corner of the road and the canal is also only a few minutes walk away. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Arrived at 10 am to leave my luggage, informed that my room could be ready in 30 mins, so I was checked in. Room on 3rd floor so steep stairs to negotiate, as expected in Amsterdam. Had no problem with this during my stay. Near tram stop & metro so nicely out of bustle of city centre, but easy enough when wanting to get back to hotel. Staff I met were extremely pleasant & helpful. Room was single small room, spotlessly clean, everything that was needed in room. Very quiet room to come back to at end of busy days. would recommend.
