While the property itself is historic and lovely, the facilities seem run down. For only being open for a year, the towels are dingy, dirty looking and rough, the furniture has stains and the walls in the bathroom have mold! The front desk needs more training for welcoming guests and being responsive to calls. We rang them MULTIPLE times to ask about booking dinner outside the hotel and NEVER got a response and worse we also called MULTIPLE times about an item we lost in the airport pick up car and NEVER got a reply!! This is unacceptable. Please train your staff appropriately, upkeep the rooms and provide better towels. Also having a PROPER travel/concierge desk would have been helpful. These are a few basic steps you can take to raise the standard of the hotel to match its heritage status.
