"The apartment very spacious and immaculately clean. Vera at reception was brilliant. I was not feeling well on arrival and she made be very comfortable with a blanket and lovely pot of tea in the family room as we waited to formally check in when our room was ready. She even came to see how I was faring the next afternoon. How kind and caring. We were both touched."

"Booked the Dare Lisbon hotel for a six day break in the city and very impressed. The hotel is right in the heart of the city with trams, funiculars, metro and train station in very close proximity. The room is more like an apartment then a hotel room which gives your more space as well as a kitchen area. The bed is very comfy and plenty of clothes storage. The bathroom is open view so make sure you don’t have any privacy issues with whoever you’re sharing with. The breakfast is included and...

"Numa Lisbon Rato was a lovely building, the apartments were great, clean, high quality. The area was nearby good food/drink locations and a 2 supermarkets a couple minutes away. Multiple transport options nearby or can walk to the centre of Lisbon in 20-25 minutes. However, my biggest issue is the air con, even though it's turned on you can't feel it and have no control over it. It wasn't warm in Lisbon 15-20 degrees but the room was still warm. I would not stay here during the peak of summer...

"I stayed at number 20, apartment 24. The property is very clean and well furnished, a room with a very good double bed and a kitchen with a living room with a sofa that should be changed. The big problem is that vis a vis there are 2 bars that play very loud music in the evening until 4 in the morning, you can hear it in the bedroom even though it is on the opposite side of the street. I do not recommend this property for those who have difficulty falling asleep or are light sleepers :)"

"The location and size of this place is outstanding. The unit was huge and the bathroom was the biggest we have seen in Portugal. Everything was walkable and the area was quite safe and easy to navigate. That said, communication with the host was lacking. Once we figured things out we were good to go though. Side note, you are right on top of the tram, so you can hear it running all day / evening. It really didn’t bother us and we actually thought it was funny. I’m not sure we would stay here...
