"Before we even got through the front gate the bell was out of order and you had to phone to gain access. It took 3 calls before we got through The room was very noisy in the evening and the balcony chairs plastic When we had tea on the main bars patio/balcony the receptionist closed the door and we were left locked out There wasn’t even an egg cup in our superior room Enough said "

"Room not ready for check in time and staff refused to resolve. Had to wait with children for some time before staff agreed to give us a different room so we could check in. Other than that inflexibility and inconvenience, our stay was great. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was also good. Would stay again."

"The property is quiet. The room is large and comfortable. We enjoyed the sports ground and facilities. The food tastes nice. The location is great, 10 mins to the beach. To improve, the swimming pool is cold in October. If there's a heated swimming pool, children will be more enjoyed to stay and we will definitely come back. It would be better if the food could have a wider range of varieties. "

"Good chain hotel comfortable rooms and good breakfast. Full of golfers - think Clarkson meets Paul Merson but they were all well behaved. A few minutes walk to marina of Vilamoura and a selection of steak houses, Chinese and massage parlours. Ideal for lads golfing tip I would."

"Me and my family stayed for 3 nights ar Real Marine Residence. The two bedroom flat was excellent. We had a everting what we need for our stay. The only things that we could not take advantage was the roof top swiming pool due to the weather. The staff were very kind and helpfull. We paid for breakfast for duration of our stay and we was given one day free breakfast. We really enjoy our stay and will recomended this hotel to our freinds "

"Brilliant place for some October sun with great staff, good pool, stunning cliffs and beach, plus fresh gluten free buffet options daily. Only a 10min walk to a very well stocked local supermarket and many excellent local restaurants in Olhos dÁgua. "The location of the Luna Olympus is great almost on the marina, I booked a marina view and it was amazing. Yes there is a bar at the bottom which stays open until the early hours and has unsavoury women in it but it doesn't have anything to do with the hotel. The things that stops this place from being a true 4* is they don't change the bedroom towels everyday and the area around the pool needs to be paved not grass as it gets worn and muddy if it rains, but I would definitely go back. "

"We had an amazing stay at Dunas Douradas. The property is beautiful and clean with easy access to the beach and a wonderful pool area. The accommodations were very clean, spacious and comfortable. We are actively trying to determine when we can visit again!"

My only downside to this hotel would be in the apartments away from the hotel which I stayed in, I had next to no WiFi. "Had an excellent stay at PortoBay Falésia. The staff were wonderful, the food was great so was our room/ view. The hotel has many amenities & activities to do but one that was very convenient for us was that the beach was a short walk away, with that you experience the most beautiful scenery of the mountains whilst walking towards it."
