"Back for a second year. The property is a beautiful house in North Durban, near a small shopping area. My bedroom was very large and well-appointed, with a large bathroom attached. This year, things are not quite as new and well-maintained as last year. I enjoyed meeting other Comrades runners staying at the house, this year including elites. The best thing about this house is the housekeeper Nklaka, who is unbelievably friendly, caring and efficient."

"The hotel is amazing and so is the vibe . However the receptionist Lola is very rude and has poor customer service. She refused to send someone up to clean the room . We had stayed over 2 nights. The phone in the room doesn't work . The management and service from the receptionist at at the restaurant was horrible. The place is amazing the staff though treat the guests terrible. Love the

"Stay was good. Shower 🚿 head needs some attention. Leaking. Mattress needs to be changed slowly caving in in the centre. Sleeper couch mattress is horrendous. Sleeper couch was grubby. Needs a good clean. Overall the place was spotlessly clean. Came across 1 cockroach. Pool was good. Cleaning staff and security are very pleasant. Front desk not sufficiently manned. "

, pool, onsite restaurant and cool bar to hang out in, short 5 min walk to North Beach, 24 hour security and free undercover parking, back up generators which was excellent given the increased load shedding while we were staying in South Africa. "
