"Munkebo is a lovely place. However we are both in our mid seventies and have slight mobility issues and were offered a room on the first floor and there was no elevator so we had to carry our heavy suitcases upstairs ourselves. "Just a 5-10 minute drive from the heart of the old town. Easy to access if coming from Odense station: 10 minute bus ride from the station, then a 5 min walk. If you like walking, it’s only a 30 minute walk from the train station. B&B unit is set up perfectly, and there is also access to their laundry. Would definitely re book if I’m in the area again. "Great property. Travelling from Canada, we drove from Copenhagen to Nyborg and decoded to stay here for the night. The staff was very friendly, offered to make us a reservation, and front desk is operational 24 hours a day. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were clean and soft. "Bought a standard room and was placed on 3rd floor. Room was small and far from lobby. We paid a little extra (10%) and were moved to a room on first floor. The first floor room was bigger, more comfortable and near the lobby, bar, and restaurant. We greatly enjoyed it!"

"Such a cute and peaceful property. When I booked I only saw pics of the room, so I was pleasantly surprised to see how lovely the courtyard was. The outside of the building looks original and well maintained, while the inside looks like a brand new hotel room. I appreciated the games provided including giant chess, ladder golf, table tennis, air hockey, and table football. Note that linens are not included but can be rented; and check in is from 15:00 to 17:00; so plan accordingly. "
