"Our room was lovely, and the service was impeccable. Tomas was extremely helpful in helping us figure out the bus schedule and he also recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The breakfast terrace was beautiful with an amazing view of Amalfi and the sea. We loved that the hotel was just far enough from the busy part of town so that it was quiet, but close enough to walk anywhere we needed to. We hope to be back in the future! "

"My wife liked this property more than I. The hotel was built in 1835 but has only been updated to circa 1960, and in some places, it shows. We were there off season and pool was empty which detracted from the overall look of the property. Big room was sparsely furnished but opened onto unforgettable deck overlooking Amalfi coast from a higher elevation than in town. So yes, the surroundings are spectacular but the hotel isn’t keeping up. Shuttle is wonderful (and necessary) as a way to get to...
