"On arrival we had to check in at the sister property down the hill. At check in they were unable to find our booking and we’re not expecting us, they did provide us with a room but we had to wait for it to be cleaned. There were dustpans & brushes left on the landing, room was reasonably clean but tired, breakfast was an extra €7 each at the sister property down the street and was good value. The bar was not open. Built at the beginning of the 20th century, the Herz-Jesu-Kirche or "Sacred Heart Church" in Koblenz is one of the most important Neo-Romanesque sacred buildings in Germany. The church was built from 1900 to 1903 to the plans of Ludwig Becker, who would go on to be the Mainz Cathedral master builder. The Herz-Jesu-Kirche was consecrated on 19th May 1904. The church was severely damaged in an air raid in 1944 and was completely burnt out. It was rebuilt from 1950 - 1953 after the Second World War. Koblenz forms the northern limit of the UNESCO Rhine Gorge World Heritage Site.

"Stayed here March 1 & 2, 2026 alone and it was a very nice hotel. Staff were very friendly and super helpful as well, including recommending a boat tour on the Sunday I was there, which I took and loved! Close to the train station and town, alot of restaurants really close as well. View of the Rhein was very nice!"
