"Great hotel/resort. Pet friendly (we stay with our dog) and staff was really helpful too. Breakfast was good too.. Rooms does not have A/C. On the other hand, you have the Church Clock that bangs every hour 24/7 so you can hear in the night as well. I think the owner of the hotel should talk with the Church to avoid the sounds at least at night. Normal price for what you get."

"I checked in late in the evening and when I tried to take a shower, I found that the water was not draining well as the bathtub hole seemed to be partially blocked so when I finished showering, there was 2-3cm of water in the tub. Add to this the fact that the shower head was really chip and ineffective and it had managed to get so much water in the bathroom floor that I had to use a large towel to collect the water! "Enjoyed 2 nights. Positives: - Very friendly and helpful staff - Great location. The history of the hotel site is wonderful - The saunas were great - enjoyed the outside pool for a few hours. "Llegar puede ser un pelín complicado pues es un camino que rodea la montaña y que aunque asfaltado, es estrecho y sin iluminación (viniendo desde Andorra) y sin iluminación así que mirad de venir durante el día. La gente que lo gestiona es muy amable y siempre mirando de ayudarte o darte conversación. El hotel se ve limpio y todo funciona perfectamente y el desayuno, fenomenal. El pan te lo tuestan ellos mismos al fuego así que puede imaginarte que se come bien"

Great stay

"Cannot imagine there is a better option in Espot. The room was nothing fancy, perfect for us to return to after two days of hiking in the National Park. Comfortable beds, clean and a great continental breakfast each morning along with friendly and helpful staff is exactly what we needed and received. The recommendations for dinners in town was also helpful and did not disappoint. "

"The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, and so are the views of the Pyrenees from the rooms. But, the best part of my stay was interacting with the wonderful people who worked at the hotel. The women at the front desk were friendly, knowledgable and professional. And the 2 managers that I met were the same. They gave me recommendations on where to stop on my way back to Lisbon and also made the hotel reservation for me! The staff was quick to help and did it with a smile. It was an excellent 3 nights and I would not hesitate to return. "

"We really liked this hotel because of the friendly staff, lovely room with a balcony, and the fantastic breakfast. There is also a super cool second floor patio which is available to all of the guests. We were hiking all day and didn't feel like going out to a restaurant, so we picked up some groceries across the street at the little convenience store and enjoyed our snacks while laying in the anti-gravity chairs and looking up at the stars. We stayed there for two nights, so we went to the restaurant across the street on our second night, which I think is owned by the same people, and had a very classy three course meal, including wine, for 25 euros each. As well, they had a free electric charge station in their parking area. Really a great Hotel."

"The hotel was very basic and was definitely geared towards winter vacations. Our very small bare room had two beds, one outlet, one ceiling light and two metal shelfs. The shared bathroom was ok, but the toilet stalls were made from plywood and everything seemed to be done on a budget. All this would have been fine since the price matched the amenities, but it didn't. We found an amazing hotel (with an electric charge station!) in a neighboring town at a lower price. "

"Jose, the owner, was very friendly, helpful, and caring. He, without being asked, offered to make phone calls to reserve a rafting trip and a busy restaurant for lunch. He then followed up on these phone calls. He also provided "tips" (his term) for hiking and local traditional cuisine. One can tell that he cares for his customers and wants them to have a wonderful experience. 5 Stars!!"

Hard to imagine much worse

"Impressively poor in so many ways. We only took it as a last resort, and you should have the same approach. Room door almost impossible to open because rubbed on floor - and that was AFTER they sent us to the wrong floor to find the room. No internet because "it's too weak to work there". Dangerously broken steps to rear balcony/patio, which was too overgrown to use anyway. See photo. Basically this is a dormitory-style place for young foolish skiiers and not much else."
