A very nice hotel. No A/C was the reason it missed 5 stars. Our Junior suite was nice and roomy, nice bathroom and good mattress. Other then the initial problem at check in we only met great people working there. Breakfast is probably the best you’ll get within 100km. Al in all a very nice stay and we certainly will chose it again once we need to visit our Bavarian family roots again.

While our stay is rather pleasant, I think the hotel staff can work on being more warm and welcoming. Bed is comfy. Breakfast selection is great. Dining area looks amazing but a male waiter makes us feel unwelcome.

Abendessen teuer. Zwei Klumpen zähes Fleisch sollte Schweinebraten sein. Keine Entschuldigung. Fast unberühter Teller wurde mit der Bemerkung "ich sage in der Küche Bescheid" abgeräumt. Keine Entschuldigung. Kein Preisnachlass. Anderer Tisch, der nach uns besetzt wurde, wurde vor uns bedient. Man hatte unseren Tisch vergessen. Zimmer erst nach Durchlaufen des halben Hotels mit Stufen in den Geschossen erreichbar. Weg vom Zimme zum Ausgang sehr weit.

Von den 33°C im Zimmer abgesehen ok.
Eigentlich ein schönes, zweckmässig eingerichtetes Hotel. Leider habe ich ein Zimmer (Einzelzimmer) im Dachgeschoss erhalten. Aus früherer Erfahrung bat ich bei der Ankunft um ein Zimmer nicht unter dem Dach. Anscheinend war da nichts mehr frei und ich musste das Zimmer behalten. Temperatur nachmittags und abends 33°C und am Morgen bei offenem Fenster 28°C. Dank dem Ventilator war es knapp zum aushalten, aber nicht erholsam.

Offensichtlich wegen Personalmangel gab es beim Einchecken erhebliche Verzögerungen; gleiches in der Weinbar Speisekarte: prima und gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Frühstück gut; allerdings etwas "rustikale" Servicekraft.

80cm Bett ist ein No-Go
Habe ein Einzelzimmer Komfort mit grossem Bett gebucht. Ich bekam dann ein Zimmer mit einem 80cm schmalen Bett. Man hötte nur 2 Einzelzimmer Komfort und die wäre schon weg. Ich fragte warum man das dann nicht an die Portale meldet - das wäre nicht in ihren Händen. Erst auf mehrfachem Nachfragen bot man mir dann ein normals Zimmerxan für 50€ mehr. So ein kleines Bett habe ich in meinen vielen Reisen noch nie gehabt. Das geht in unserer Zeit einfach nicht mehr und das bei einem 4 Sterne Hotel
