"Hotel end of checking in time is 6pm. We were late on our way there because unexpected snow on mountains mid September. We called owner, she left our room key and instruction at reception, and we checked in without any issues. The breakfast has good choice. The stuff was very friendly and helpful."

Our room was beautiful and clean, and there were lots of choices on the breakfast they presented us. I would highly recommend this castle if you like historic properties. "The hotel is situated perfectly for walking into the small town of Alpbach or for setting off on one of the many possible mountain hikes in the area. Facilities: stainless steel lined indoor/outdoor heated swimming pool with bar service. Plenty of towels available. We paid the half-board rate to get breakfast and dinner included.
