The room, shower and bed was clean and comfortable. We felt the pub needed a refurbishment and was unhappy with the only meal we had.Evening menu was limited for vegetarian and food was only average. Breakfast could be better. Street parking is a lottery. Not sure it was value for money. Staff were excellent Accommodation in Alnmouth was limited but we still enjoyed our holiday.

Staff were really nice and welcoming. Food was great. Overall the place has a nice modern feel within an old traditional pub. The room we had was nice, however the window was frosted as it backed on to the kitchen yard and with one small opener made it extremely hot. I would however stay there again.

Underwhelming visit, but beautiful village.
We had a comfortable stay at the hotel, inconsistency in service. A little more attention to detail and customer service would elevate the experience. Modern decor, clean but cooking smell is a bit off putting.

Lovely, cozy rooms above a great little restaurant with friendly staff and a great choice of local ales. Peaceful location on the Northumberland coast, well worth exploring.

A lovely stay in Alnmouth for our mini moon, the room was so comfy and the staff super friendly. Such a dog friendly stay and the food options were great, particularly half price pizza and pasta before 5:30pm. Will definitely recommended the hope and anchor hotel to others.
