"This was our last hotel of this trip. It was spacious and modern. However, the hotel is trying to be efficience but there are things that not wirking (yet) such as the card reader in the lift. If it works, it will make guests feel safer, not anyone can just go up to the floors. The pink laundry machine, everyhting had to go thru the receptionist while there was a QR code there but was told, it is not working. The 24hr supermarket is a good idea but as expexted quite expensive and not many...

"We came over from Scotland for the Euros and did worry it was a bit far out from Munich centre but it was so easy to get the train and was nice to get out of the madness 😀 when came back to the apartment."

That disturbed me but fortunately I was out at work in the evenings so not for long. Secondly, I would suggest that the property use fewer perfumed cleaning and laundry products. "When traveling to Munich, I was more concerned about location than amenities and when I decided to stay at Platzl Hotel, I didn’t expect much for what I paid in comparison to other hotels nearby. What an amazing find and I would recommend for anyone to stay here. It’s such a great value based on its location and amenities. The room is extremely clean, there’s excellent service, a lively bar downstairs and a sauna after a cold, wintry day. It’s in Marienplatz and therefore close to the subway line, but completely walkable with tons of restaurants and high end boutiques for some retail therapy. I’m extremely happy with this hotel. We would love to stay here again. "

Great find, Great Front of House Staff

"What a great find in Munich. First off, it's only a couple blocks from München Hbf (Munich Central Train Station) and from the Old Town where you'll see most of the tourist spots. The room was perfect sized for us with a nice walk-in shower. The biggest plus was the staff manning the front of house. Even though check-in/check-out is automated, the front of house staff was unbelievably helpful with getting us the layout of the hotel and of our neighborhood. Highly recommended!"
