I even got cleaning service every day which doesn’t happen most places anymore. My only complaint is the beds seem really hard. I prefer a firmer bed, but their beds are extremely firm. "The hotel is right on the corner of the square in Ghent, it was not too noisy though. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast and bar areas were clean and well stocked. It is very easy to find your way around the city and the tram services are excellent. Have a look around the castle, a good two or three hours to cover it. Many churches too. We are not religious, but the architecture is something to behold. A trip to Patrick Foley's Irish Bar is also worth it."

"Had a good stay for four nights, but it is more of an Airbnb than a hotel. I would not prefer their reception-less method if traveling alone. Rooms are spacious and quiet, but a little dingy/dusty. Showers would not stay warm for long in the evenings but mornings were fine. We had to contact owners for more towels and toilet paper but they arrived very quickly and seemed happy to check in with us. Extremely walk able area for beautiful Ghent, but getting to and from the train station required...

"Quirky historic hotel in a very quiet part of the city, but just a few minutes walk from the centre. Great staff, lovely breakfast. Well appointed room and bathroom. Only slight criticism is that the double bed was two singles pushed together and they were very "mobile" so would drift apart easily!"
