"We really enjoyed our stay. Very dated, bare-bones lodging but the staff was friendly. Free breakfast included a made-to-order omelette station. "Garden Gate B&B is located near the actual Sturgeon Bay, which cuts across most of Door County from Green Bay . There is a shipyard directly across the street, but it isn't intrusive. Whistles at the start and end of the shift , that's about it. While the immediate area is unremarkable, the place is close to downtown in one direction and a lovely park on the bay in the other. "We were completely disappointed that there were no dishes, glassware, silverware or cookware provided, after being told it was FULLY equipped. "If I could do six stars I would. Booked the trip for my parents for their anniversary and they absolutely loved it. Clean sheets and beautiful cabin. "Cute little and eclectic studio with a whimsy vibe was everything advertised. We stayed two nights and it was hard to pack up and leave.
