"During our week long stay at this beautiful property, my family and I had the most enjoyable stay. The owners and the hotel assistant were warm,inviting and very helpful. The food was also amazing. We had daily transportation provided (for a fee) to and from Medellin. The hosts assisted with corresponding with our excursions to get a closer pick up and drop off. "I will start off saying the view was amazing. Nothing else is good. The place is a house that is mismanaged and filthy. It's not a resort. There is garbage and junk all over. See pics. Our room was never cleaned and had dirty sheets. We insisted that they changed the sheets. No restaurant. No parking. We parked at a neighboring property, Gretel.No access to the water. No breakfast although it was supposed to be included"

"The room was nice, and the staff, once we got in touch with them, were very helpful. The bedrooms are relatively quiet considering how noisy it was outside. Check in was a bit disappointing. Took a while to get in touch with the person to check us in, and then we had to wait a long time for someone to show up."

"Besides the lovely family hosting a more beautiful location with the vistas would be hard to imagine the only challenges to drive based on weather conditions, and the host is more gracious to also meet us on the main street and have a follow him"

"The property has a nice view of the lake and it is conveniently located in front of the large "GUATAPE" letters for pictures. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. There is no lobby at this particular location."

"Large, beautifully designed and maintained property— both landscaping and architecture. Vistas of the water and access to it are excellent. Very clean. Very comfortable. Excellent food and service. Staff was kind and helpful. We did have a plumbing issue in our room. But staff attended to it immediately and fixed it. Proximity to the Piedra del Peñol couldn’t be better. It’s a bit outside Guatape, but readily accessible via Tuk-Tuk. "

"Clean and comfortable hotel in a great location. El Peñol Rock is within walking distance—just be cautious of traffic along the road. Once there, you can access the site via the staircase entrance. We were able to run from the hotel to the rock a couple of times with no issues. If you’re driving, the hotel offers plenty of parking. Guatapé is about 4 kilometers away, or roughly a 5-minute drive. "

El Nido tranquility!

"The room was great although the jacuzzi water was cold most of the time. The food was amazing from the restaurant. We didn't have much options as the hotel is in an isolated area unless you have a car to get around which we didn't. It was very relaxing. Beautiful views and amazing weather. "
