Amazing staff, lovely place, slightly annoying with the creaky floorboards when there is someone in the room above but it’s old and cannot expect anything different but that would be my only minor gripe

Really nice Country Inn located in a lovely part of England. Very welcoming, clean and decent sized room. Great menu for dining options and excellent breakfast in the morning. Service in bar and restaurant very good too.

Very clean and comfortable with generally very generous food portions of a good standard but some shortcomings at breakfast eg toast but no jam or marmalade offered, only 1cup of coffee offered , butter portion small . Otherwise very good value.

3rd time and not the last
I just love this place. From the moment you walk through the door you feel at home. We like to stay in the Shakespeare suite which is beautiful and supremely comfortable. I always have the best nights sleep. The food in the restaurant is fabulous- I won’t eat risotto anywhere else. We usually stay for a night on our way back from visiting family in Dorset but I think next year we will come for longer. Thanks as always to all the staff.
