"I enjoyed my stay here at the Villa Doris. My suite was very clean and very well-maintained. The kitchen was nice with Miele appliances. The property is across the boardwalk that goes along the coast and made it very convenient to go for a scenic walk by the ocean. It’s also within 15-20 minutes walking distance to the old town. "Before we even got through the front gate the bell was out of order and you had to phone to gain access. It took 3 calls before we got through The room was very noisy in the evening and the balcony chairs plastic When we had tea on the main bars patio/balcony the receptionist closed the door and we were left locked out There wasn’t even an egg cup in our superior room Enough said "

"Great hotel overall. We stayed a week in February in a room with ocean view. The room had a nice view and good size. Breakfast was delicious. Indoor pool was always warm and gym was well equipped. The spa is great too. The beach is one of the nicest in Portugal. While there are several restaurants nearby, there's not too much variation and food is relatively expensive. Would definitely stay again."
