"My only complaint is the Maintenance man who spent a considerable amount of time in the ladies room at end of hallway on the 1st floor and didn't bother to wash his hands after handling his smelly #2 business. Then, he was later seen picking up a plastic knife from the container of knives for lodgers use in the buffet area, using the knife to adjust the temperature on the thermostat through the lockbox on the wall, and PUTTING THE KNIFE BACK INTO THE CONTAINER FOR CUSTOMER USE!! "Wonderful, historic grounds with art abound. There is a horse, a goat and chickens. The delicious breakfast included eggs they’d given along with fruit from the grounds., had bacon too. Picked some tomatoes and basil from the small garden. The bed was very comfortable (4 post bed downstairs) and a porch out the back door. The room is part of the historic building, but we heard no others during the stay. Phil and Darlene kept an open communication and were accommodating., would definitely stay...
