"Yes parking is difficult but once you are parked you don't ever need to move your car as you have direct access to a ferry port and can travel to virtually any town that borders como di lago. "We stayed for 5 days & enjoyed our stay in the Lake. We were in the top floor apartment which has a lot of stairs to climb, no lift. It is a little noisy as it’s right beside the main road so bring ear plugs as that made it better at night to sleep. The second room in the apartment is difficult to stand in as its ceiling is very low due to being an attic. "We arrived early and they wanted €50 to get the room ahead of time, what a scam, everywhere we ever been in the world nobody has ever asked for a fee to enter our room early. Also the shuttle bus to the airport had a charge ( which we knew in advance) . The journey was less than 5 minutes, so that was over the top, taking advantage of the hotel guests, not nice."
