"Nice rooms but pools were missing tiles. I had higher expectations of the restaurant for a five star hotel. Some of the local staff members were rude - especially this middle aged male server who almost yelled at me for wanting a drink. He messed up the drink anyway - ordered a Cabernet and he brought me white wine. The bellboy was very kind and helpful but the lady at the reception who checked us in was merely mean. Long wait times for everything. Tiny indoor pool."

"Rooms are not cleaned (maybe once a week) Rooms are very small and old facilities are not good. At first day my wife was locke in shower and couldn't get out and since there is no emergency call buzzer or phone in shower she needed ask help from other guests. At breakfast you need to wait for about 15 minutes in line in order to get puncakes and food itself was very low quality. Pool is relatevly good and not very crowded. "I wouldn't go back to this hotel, because it wasn't well maintained. None of the public areas looked clean, you could see cobwebs on the stairs as well as the inside the rooms. Staff at the reception desk had no knowledge whatsoever. The only positive things was the location. "

Varna Stay

"We visited family in Varna and used the hotel for a 5 night stay in December. We booked an executive double room with a sea view. Check in was easy and reception staff were helpful & friendly. The hotel is situated a short walk to the centre. Our room was on the tenth floor 1003 and had a panoramic sea view. The room was large with a walk-in wardrobe, large bathroom with bath and separate shower, and spacious bedroom with large TV (no English channels worth watching). The king size bed was comfortable, bedding was changed regularly and plenty of clean towels were provided daily. Rituals toiletries are provided including shampoo & conditioner, and there is a decent enough wall mounted hairdryer in the bathroom. There is a tea making equipment, free safe and mini bar and you get a complimentary bottle of water every day. The hotel is quiet and we didn't hear any noise at night. Breakfast was served in reception as the restaurant was undergoing renovation and this may have affected the options available as food choices were limited. The hotel was spotlessly clean and staff were all friendly and helpful."
