"This is an exceptional property, beautifully restored from a sprawling 17th century Catalan farmhouse. The couple that run it are very engaging and helpful and the food, prepared by the husband, is simply outstanding. It is very much in the country and a great place to relax and disconnect, which was what we wanted from the experience. If you want a more urban experience, this is not the place for you, but we just loved it. It was stunning."

Note that the reception appears not to be open all the time (we arrived to find another group of guests tryng to get it) so message ahead with arrival time. Room was excellent, large, clean, comfortable bed, excellent bathroom. We used the restaurant for dinner, where the meal was rather prefunctory, from a set menu (In Spanish) and we were asked for our menu choice as soon as we had sat down, without even having been shown a menu....

"Hotel has great facilities, but it has poor cleanness. we found, at least, 30 bugs inside our apartment. We had to remove the bugs several times as they coming out from somewhere we could not find. In addition, closest and other places in the rooms where not clean and smelly. We report the issues at check out as we checked in late afternoon, were going to stay for one night, and did not want to have other people coming into our apartment to clean."
