"Excellent place to stay! Friendly people, beautiful accommodations! Perfectly located and has a rooftop pool to boot! The only criticism would be the mattresses… they were too firm for our liking and it made it hard to sleep, but we like soft beds so anyone else may not have an issue at all. We are already planning our next trip to Malta and plan to book here again"

"Lovely clean apartment, well equiped for self catering. We did book breakfast but the buffet restaurant closed due to being out of season. However the staff brought breakfast to order every morning to our room, which was lovely. I asked for an extra blanket (before we worked the heating out) which was delivered promptly. Nothing was to much trouble. Bars and restaurants all close by. "

"Our stay at Ellul Living was wonderful. The unit we stayed in was recently refurbished with top of the line kitchen appliances, a very comfortable bed with a large television and a great bathroom with shower. The location was perfect for us with a short, 10 walk to downtown Valletta along a beautiful, well lit pedestrian walkway. The area was safe and quiet. "We arrived to find the property was ready and hadn’t been cleaned from the previous tenants. We contacted the owner and to be honest he was very good, provided another property across the hallway and got the original property cleaned within in two hours. We were moved back as the alternative property was cold. But after a poor start we had a good stay. Important to follow the owners instructions as there are several properties in the area with similar names "

"The property is well located, there is a bus station about five minutes walk from the property so if you take the X3 bus from the airport you you literally get off at the last stop Bugibba, and it cost only two euro. "The property was a pleasant surprise. Whilst dated and in some places showing signs of wear (toilets and bathrooms) , the staff were so friendly and the amenities are excellent. Ideally located within minutes of Valetta, they have a shuttle that runs every 20 mins to take you up the hill (though it wasn't as bad as the pictures make out!) We will go back again! "

"We had a great stay at the hotel and they made us feel so welcome. We travelled to Malta for our first family hiliday with our 8month year old and the hotel was so accommodating. Recommend for families and couples who want to relax as the area is safe and quiet. Only negative was there was a lot of construction around the property which made it hard to walk to St Julian’s with a baby and the pram. "

Amazing 2 night stay - sea view room

"Wow so glad I booked a sea view room, it was like a suite! Huge bathroom, separate living area with sofa, balcony with seating. Great location, 10 min walk to the ferries to go across to Valletta or the cruises to Gozo. Staff lovely, good choice at breakfast of both hot and cold continental foods. Fridge in our room too. Mattresses are memory foam which seemed very firm (I’m used to super soft) We had no time to use the voucher for the fantastic pool across the road but it looked great, and heated too. Handy little shop next door for drinks, snacks, souvenirs. Would 100% stay again but book the sea view room again. 10/10"

Wonderful Property!

"Wonderful hotel experience with lovely service. The rooms are very comfortable and the in-bathroom tub are both very deep and long so great for tall people. The breakfast was very good and the mains were made to order - lovely touch. While much of the facility lives up to its 4/5 star rating and I would definitely stay again, there were a few small details that while not a big deal at all, are expected in a highly rated hotel. For example, a number of times my water was not refilled when the room was cleaned. Of course, this was fixed right away when I let the front desk know, but it is these small details that help a hotel maintain a reputation as a luxury property. The location of the hotel is phenomenal with many sites in easy walking distance. A great number of dining options are available right near by. Highly recommend this hotel! "
