"Was a bit apprehensive booking this after reading a lot of bad reviews about the cleanliness, however my room was perfectly clean. Also, would NOT recommend going to Airlie Beach during what they call the wet season...Jan-Mar. It rained every day...our flights were cancelled; the entire airport was closed cuz the roads in were flooded...apparently a regular event there. "
