"If you like closeness to nature, this the place for you. Squirrels, birds and monkeys visited our balcony during our stay. The glass walled villa offers amazing view of the forest in all four directions but if you prefer privacy, draw the curtains, which we didn't have to use. Given the location, expect some ants, mostly in the bathtub but they don't bite or bother us. The adorable resident dogs do bark intermittently at night so bring ear plugs if necessary. "The villas at Lavanya are beautiful and very well maintained. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment with pool. The apartment was quite spacious elegantly built and furnished, with full kitchen and washer dryer. The service was awesome! The only issue I had was that the master bathroom had no door and the toilet in it had glass doors. And that was a major inconvenience for us. Except that, I liked everything about this place!"

"Great villa with three en-suites in a great location near Pantai Chenang beach, shops and restaurants. Complimentary drinks and pot noodles provided in the villa which was a nice touch. There is a private small pool, with towels provided. Perfect for families."

"The Limasan Villa property is in the middle of rural place surrounded by native houses and is very near the airport. aircraft noisy is terrible. The property is far from the beach and the main street. And rural road is narrow and uneven, also smells bad. The house is very dark, gloomy , unclean floor and whole place smells The manager behavior was very cruel. when we tried to solve a problem， the managerwouldn't cooperat and force us move out our luggage outside the main gate and expel us...

"I am rating this three star only because the hotel staff worked really hard to remedy all the problems we faced other wise this would have been one star. We had reserved a three bedroom apartment for two nights, but everything went wrong from the start, from a non working parking gate key to a broken AC in one of the bedroom. The apartment was also very dated and the floor dusty, probably no one booked it for a long time. Without a working AC in one of the bedrooms we are one bed short so we...

Outstanding experience

"One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in worldwide. Spectacular setting and beautiful beach; rainforest villas in the heart of the jungle with copious wildlife (macaques, dusky leaf monkeys, monitor lizards, great hornbills, otters swimming in the sea, butterflies...); outstanding and really friendly service; excellent food. There is very little not to like about this outstanding hotel in an outstanding location. "

"Returned for my 4th visit after a 5 year break due to Malaysia being closed to foreign tourists. The hotel has been extensively renovated during the lockdowm so we spent much more time by the pool and the rooms were great. Miss the vibe of the Cba beach bar. The pelangi grill feels more like a restaurant than a bar. Stayed for 3 nights and noticed the buffets were smaller than before covid and the options were fairly consistent for the 3 nights we were there. Would have liked more variety and missed the Malaysian sweets and dishes and vegan options that we enjoyed in 2020. As on our previous visits the staff were very friendly and efficient. Overall though we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would love to return for a longer stay next year "

"Generally a great property and wonderful beach.For the beach towels one has to walk up to the pool area to get and return towels which can be a small hike in the hot sun. Great Thai restaurant and service. Dayana and Brassarie were great restaurants. However it always took time for the wait staff to get your order. You had to wave them down for additional service and to obtain your bill after you were done. None of these issues would deter me from returning."
