Accueil sympa mais pas tout le temps là ! Hôtel pas facile à trouver. Chambre (Studio) grande, très bien équipée, confortable, propre, pas de bruits, mauvaise wifi.

Bei der Ankunft fanden wir einen Zettel mit unserem Namen und der Zimmernummer vor. Vom Hotel war niemand anwesend. Das uns zugewiesene Zimmer war nicht das von uns gebuchte Studio. Gebucht war ein Studio mit Meerblick. Zugewiesen bekamen wir ein Zimmer auf der untersten Ebene mit Poolblick. An der „sogenannten“Rezeption war ein Hinweis mit Telefonnummern. Wir haben dann nach einigen Versuchen jemanden erreicht. Nach ca. 40 Minuten war die Vermieterin vor Ort. Auf unsere Reklamation hin wurde uns ein anderes Studio für den nächsten Tag zugesichert. Am nächsten Tag haben wir nun dieses Studio bezogen. einfache Ausstattung, dem Preis angemessen. Die Küche haben wir nicht benutzt. Bei der Duschabtrennung fehlte ein Schiebeelement. Der Balkon bot einen traumhaften Blick auf die Bucht und den Ort Plakias. Leider waren die Stühle und die Bank auf dem Balkon alle defekt. Gefrühstückt haben wir nicht im Hotel.

Schöne Lage, angenehmes Zimmer, leider viel Wind

Die Unterkunft war vollkommen in Ordnung. Allerdings war der Ablauf der Buchung vor Antritt der Reise miserabel. Wir bekamen keine Adresse oder Wegbeschreibung zugesannt. Kurz vor der Abreise nach Kreta, also eine Woche vor Bezug der Wohnung, bekam ich nach einigen Telefonaten eine Telefonnummer genannt, bei der ich mich am Anreisetag melden sollte. Dieser schlechte Service wird mich davon abhalten, nochmal bei FEWO zu buchen.

A comfortable stay in Plakias

We had a straightforward studio,it was clean, not luxurious but comfortable. The pool was most refreshing. The pool bar was low key at end of June. Panorama is a 10 minute walk up a steep hill from Plakias Harbour. Great views of the surrounding area. Plakias beach is long and provides some fine swimming..There are over a dozen restaurants nearby, several small supermarkets, pharmacy and gift shops. There are about 4 ATM's in Plakias.

Pleasant and convenient studios

Panorama fulfills its promise of panoramic and breathtaking views of the sea from its suites. This is a family run facility, so don't expect the slick and polished service of a boutique or chain hotel. This is a self-serve place-- you'll carry your own luggage, practically check yourself in, and hunt down the owners if you need anything. The studios are dated but fully functional. Except for the shower with no curtain (the entire toilet will be soaked when you shower), there's little to complain about. Everything works-- the rooms, common areas, swimming pool, breakfast area are all clean and pleasant. The location is also convenient -- you can walk to town & the beach in 5 minutes. The hosts Giorgio and Maru are also very accommodating. If you don't need cooking facilities, they also have a regular hotel across the street, with several rooms offering dramatic ocean views.

Studio Apartment at Plakias

This studio apartment building is located up a rather steep hill, overlooking both the beach and the mountains and hills of the area. It is very peaceful - as we were there in Feburary - and the owners could not do enough for us during our stay there, sorting out radiator issues, organising a taxi to take us to local places and bringing a wonderful breakfast tray to our room every day.! (Breakfast extra charge but very reasonable indeed) We only had five nights there but it was a fantastic break in winter. The only thing about February is there are not many places open to eat!
