"We loved our stay at Koko, the staff was very friendly, the room was large (family suite) and we were located in a quieter part of Asakusa but close enough to the action that we could walk over for fun. Would definitely stay here again."

"Close to subway stations, and cheap but GREAT local restaurants. Slightly out of Tokyo central, property not too noisy. But check in counter (staff not overly helpful, but not rude) was a long way from actual rooms, which were through a maze at the back of the building. Good for the price."

"The location is excellent, quiet and away from the main shopping areas but it’s still very accessible to transports and others convenience. Staff are very helpful and speak English which is very handy. Service is sensible, not extravagant yet considerate of our needs. Will definitely come again"

"The room was a good size for our family of 4 and we liked that the toilet, shower and sink were in separate spaces. Had a small kitchenette which was helpful. Staff was friendly and location was good. The only complaint was the washer/dryer combo didn’t work. Spent a lot of time waiting for the clothes not to dry…would not recommend using their laundry. "

"The pokemon theme room quite impressive although the snorlax pushy looks a bit dirty. The whole room is with pokemon design except the toilet. Around 10mins walk from station, no shelter. "

"We enjoyed finding the ninjas in the lobby. It was fun for us parents as well as our daughter. The staff members in reception were also very friendly, especially Aoi san who was exceptional in making us feel welcomed and brightened our days. We are glad to have stayed at this hotel because we got to meet Aoi san."

"Our stay was great. The room and linens were clean, with 2 double beds, they were firm, I believe most are in Japan. Pillows were good size, I have neck problems so I usually travel with my own. They were not to large, or heavy. In the states I think most are annoyingly large, definitely creating a kink in the neck. So I appreciated this maybe more than some would. "Great stay at the APA hotel. Check in during regular hours was seamless, quick. Rooms themselves are quite small but seems par for the course for Tokyo and also reasonable for the price. I stayed alone in a single unit and felt cramped at times. The breakfast is excellent and I had no problems getting a seat around 8 AM without a pre-reservation/signing up before hand though it does cost 200 yen more. It is about a 10-15 min walk from the closest subway station though which can be a pain when the weather is very cold as it was for us in January"

"Great amenities, very close to the train station, restaurants and shopping centers. Rooms are a little small but it’s nice and cozy. Location is far from the crazy Shinjuku area, very nice and quiet place. Cleaning service was impeccable! "
